Halo: The Master Chief Collection September Update Patch Notes released
Firefight in Reach has the potential to create a wide array of experiences for different audiences, but that potential has yet to be fully exploited in the matchmaking playlists to date. The two current playlists are insufficient to span the variety of gametypes and difficulties that the player base has been asking for. Idlers and griefers find themselves enabled and rewarded. Meanwhile Score Attack, a single player mode bursting at the seams with potential, sits idle, the same progression of one enemy type at a time for just one Round since launch.
The Firefight playlists are in need of an overhaul. There are a variety of ways to clean up the playlists and make them more appealing to the range of players that play Firefight, but it will require some focused attention and resources from the Bungie or i teams.
I really hope this game isn’t plagued with the low population issues we’ve Not that I can play atm anyway, going on to day 3 of being stuck in limited mode. In Gears of War (smaller playerbase than Halo, but still healthy) it.
Nearly 4 years ago, I started a blog post called ” Ship Broken. Patch Later “, it was a draft that never went public describing the frustration of the video game industry back then. Major AAA title games launched with serious problems that took months to years to resolve. It was a bleak time for the game, but patches kept coming in hopes to fix the bleeding pig. The list above shows that tried to fix things. A patch basically weekly for 6 straight weeks.
These patches did fix some of the most crazy bugs this game suffered. Releases kept coming, including some patches that had features! This was an apology to the world for the absolute mess that was Halo MCC. Personally though, I didn’t want new content. I wanted a game that worked. Regardless of the patches made, things didn’t really work. I imagine this was a by-product of weekly releases on such a large game. While games did start now, they sometimes started uneven, so a group of 7v7 might start 9v5 or something strange.

I only want to get 1 game in the MCC because I’m only really interested in multiplayer and expect the other titles would just sit in my library while I play the one with the best multiplayer. Having not owned an Xbox as a kid, I haven’t really played much Halo multiplayer in the past I looked into all the titles and Halo Reach looks most interesting to me, but I have heard people don’t like it and that it is losing population?

After weeks of showing the world just how much playing Halo 2 on Xbox Live meant to them, a group of hard-core Master Chief devotees who just couldn’t let go of the multiplayer version of their beloved game has given up the ghost.
